Back in Canada

I’m back in Canada.

I debated where to live in Canada. I’ve lived in many Canadian cities, and each has its pros and cons. I’m also curious about living in some places where I haven’t lived… Ultimately, I decided it would make the most sense to live in Saskatchewan for now. My parents, one of my brothers, his wife, and many relatives live in Saskatchewan, and by living there I can visit them much easier. I’ve already had a chance to catch up with some people, and I hope to catch up with more.

Moving to a different country is a huge hassle. I knew that, but it seems I keep forgetting! You have to move yourself and your things, of course, but you also have to shut down a bunch of things in the place you’re leaving, and set up their equivalents in the place you’re moving. Healthcare is one example. Most of that is done now, I hope.

I’ve been ramping up a new business, so that’s where the rest of my time has been going. I’ll write more about that in a future post.
